    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Excellent sales staff-some of the highest quality freight customers in the USA. Terrific business plan-just in time delivery services of LTL freight, mostly guarenteed service. , High quality driver workforce-average driver has 30 years of experience
Excellent pay and benefits-tops in the industry

    Cons

    Management treats employees very disrespectfully
Dispatchers do not work hard enough to make sure drivers have opportunities to get home weekends to see their families
Communication is almost nil between management and the workforce
Maintenance, although adequate when done, takes too much time for drivers to wait

    Advice to Management

Working harder to see that drivers have more family time would help morale
Train management to better respect all employees
Improve communication, especially between maintenance and drivers

I have been working at New Century Transportation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

PLACE TO WORK, NO BETTER THAN OTHER COMPANIES

    Cons

bad maintenance practices,my truck apu and bunk heater have been broken for weeks,i write them up turn in dvir and nothing gets done.th.00ey advertise drivers make $1100 a week, that is false advertising,my last ey are missing alrightcheck was a little over $500,if you don't get in the terminal by noon Tuesday to tum rn in paperwork well you don't get paid that week, some reason they will not let drivers use the transflo system in truck stops to turn in paperwork.i like others working there am bidding my time for something better.

    Advice to Management

please get us on electronic logs, let use use the transflo system to get our paperwork in so we can get paid for what we do every week.recently log dept. wrote me up for missing logs, the y are missing alright! I turned them in with rest of my paperwork, somebody from dispatch to logs dept. lost them.being that logs are federal documents loosing them is a crime.DOT Might investigate this!
