    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at New York Life as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

NYL have gym, back up childcare and medical department -- great perks. CEO and Human resources considering to outsource the medical department next year.

    Cons

It use to be a great place to work, but since the new CEO came to power, the company is going downhill: having layoffs and several re-organizations. It makes very unstable environment to work in. Management have no care for loyal employees who spend their tenure with good performance, they still get layoff. The company create new positions and hire the young people to save on pension benefits.

    Advice to Management

It's extremely bureaucratic company, even senior management have no decision making ability.
