    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at New York Magazine full-time

    Pros

-got to write interesting stories -learned a lot about digital news

    Cons

I'm in a different job now, and there has been a world of difference in how people interact. At New York Mag, employees rarely talk to each other. Standoffish culture is the best way to describe it. I never really felt comfortable in the office.

I have been working at New York Magazine

      Pros

The name, the stories, the people

      Cons

Traditional old-school publication environment— no snacks, the only thing that’s free is coffee. All cubicles, no collaboration— all communication via slack. Quiet workplace
