"Good for learning, difficult to get noticed"

    StarStarStarStarStar
Former Employee - Web Intern in New York, NY

I worked at New York Magazine for less than a year

      Pros

The office is always busy, open workspace, many coworkers are very willing to help.

      Cons

When I was given projects, I felt that I was learning a lot. However, this did not happen that often because my supervisor was always so busy that it seemed as if she didn't know I was there half the time.

      Advice to Management

Pay more attention to interns, they're willing to work!

        Current Employee - Intern

I have been working at New York Magazine

        Pros

The name, the stories, the people

        Cons

Traditional old-school publication environment— no snacks, the only thing that’s free is coffee. All cubicles, no collaboration— all communication via slack. Quiet workplace
