I have been working at New York Sports Club part-time (More than a year)

Pros

It's fun if you're a social person.

Cons

The stress associated with promoting is crazy. In rain, snow they want you bringing bodies into the gym.

Advice to Management

The quota should be based on location not the number of sales people.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at New York Sports Club full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free Gym Membership.
    Friendly Co workers

    Cons

    Extremely unorganized company and management.
Was hired, asked to come in on my 1st day to be sent home bc "my paperwork did not go through yet" and I didn't end up starting til almost a week later after I was pressured to not give a 2 week notice to my previous job.
The program I was hired to run was a complete joke. It was in complete shambles due to the fact that no one had been in charge of it for months prior. I felt like i was thrown into a mess. My first paycheck I received was over 2 weeks late. The morale of other employees as numerous other clubs is pathetic. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

    Advice to Management

Get organized, Work on employee morale,
