Current Employee - Account Manager in Atlanta, GA
Current Employee - Account Manager in Atlanta, GA
Approves of CEO

Pros

Being such a large company there are so many opportunities to move, both geographically and professionally. If you need to relocate management does a good job of finding an opportunity for you either in your divison or in a different division.

Also management does a good job of letting you dictate your career path. They will help you move into whatever field you would like, but that may require relocating. Sales jobs can be found in all areas but marketing, finance, etc positions need to obviously be done at one of the divisions locations.

Cons

Newell believes in paying its employees around the 50th percentile within its industry. However, our products and sales are usually higher than our competitors, so that can be frustrating. They try to bonus a little better than their competitors, but that's only beneficial when you hit your numbers.

Advice to Management

Increase salaries
