Pros

The people - sense of teamwork. People help each other for the most part.

Cons

lack of consistency in procedures and practices - always introducing something new and changing software/systems. Difficulty streamlining processes across offices causing confusion, inefficiency and job stress/dissatisfaction. Workload is way too high for a standard 40-hour work week. OT is expected by the employees but only on occasion. Increasingly becoming all the time just to keep up with all the unrealistic demands. Micro-management is a problem and many are "workalholics" with no life and expect you to be the same.

Advice to Management

Give employees a reasonable workload so they can balance work/life and have greater job satisfaction. This will increase morale and retention. Once the economy improves, you may see a lot of people leaving.
