    Pros

Visionary executive leadership. Attracts bright young and energetic employees.

    Cons

Way too hard-driving on customers as well as employees. Very hard to keep up. Burn-out at NSL is endemic. Over promise and under deliver is a way of life.

    Next Step Living Response

September 17, 2015Director of Talent Acquisition

Thanks for your note. I’m sorry to hear you feel the culture is lacking. Making a difference and working towards our mission is not easy-- we need to work hard at it. We encourage a healthy work/life balance and do our best to make sure people aren’t being pushed to the point where they’re feeling burnt out. In situations where that becomes an issue, we urge employees to reach out to their managers or the HR team to let them know so we can work to prevent that from happening in the future.

I worked at Next Step Living

    Pros

The job offered a competitive salary and a nice commission structure. It is a self serving job for the independent employee.

    Cons

Jobs are not always guaranteed and you can have some weeks where work is very minimal. The company structure changes frequently and it can be difficult to adjust at times.
