    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Nissan North America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Profitable company, great designs, nice facilities, decent technology tools, salary, benefits

    Cons

Top level executives do not get along. Very political.
Divisions do not cooperate to achieve common goals of sales, building customer loyality, quality products, career planning, and a motivated/empowered employee population..
Employees fear for their jobs, retaliation is rampant and unchecked. When employees can't speak plainly to identify business issues and problem managers are unchecked, the company is entering a tailspin. Weak human resources (promotions based on who you know, not what) and compliance process will expose this facility )and others) to union organizing efforts.

    Advice to Management

Fixing the culture starts at the top. There is a lot of unrealized potential in your employee base, but the politics on the 10th floor filters down to all departments suppressing that potential. Will you be shocked by this years Hays Survey results? Probably not. How many more quality employees have to leave to work for our competition before something is done? The solution is not assigning work teams and more objectives on floors 2-9, the fix is in an HR department that cares supports the human assest value and on the 10 floor and at NML. CEO ego is out of control.

I worked at Nissan North America full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

No Pros in the IS Department

    Cons

No growth and recognition. They change management every 2 years and within 2-4 years they do not know who your are as the new management comes on board. You loose all previous accomplishments and you are looked at as someone new. People have more to offer, but due to change of management, your talent goes on UN-used and you decade.

    Advice to Management

Helpless - so much advice has been given and no actions.
