Pros

Positive goal achievement culture, well organised, reasonable training opportunities - e.g. 80% sponsorship for higher education.

Cons

Limited career opportunities. Long working hours expected - seen as the 'norm' by management, therefore little appreciation shown. Pressure to perform, but little difference in reward between good performance and average performance.

Advice to Management

On a company level senior management are doing a fair job maintaining business competitiveness. On an individual level performance and reward (recognition/remuneration/career prospects) are poorly linked.

    I worked at Nissan full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Milieu multi-culturel.
    Entreprise agile et en constante crise et transformation.
    Opportunités, surtout en rotation (plus que promotion).
    Vous apprendrez énormément mais dans la souffrance (culture japonaise)

    Cons

    Forget Work Life balance.
    Pression sérieuse et constante.
    Vous donnerez tout de vous meme dans un marathon sans fin...
    N'espérez aucun retour sur investissement.
    Networking et Visibilites sont a Must, et non la qualité de votre travail et façon de travailler.
    Le management des hommes est base sur un principe simple: prenez les jeunes, des 23 ans, moyenne d'âge environ 30 ans au siege en Europe; ne les gardez pas trop longtemps et reprennez des jeunes motives, endurants (résilient) et moins cher. Et ça marche!

    Advice to Management

    Peine perdue: cette entreprise est trop focalisée sur les couts, le profit et le court terme. Prenez garde: les anciens ont tenu bon (autre génération et mindset) mais les Millenials risquent de vous fuir.
    Soyez plus humains, restez constants dans vos feedbacks et attentifs, suivez l'historique des Great Achievements et Potentiel de vos collaborateurs, et aussi: rendez les fier des produits et de la marque, c'est pourtant facile dans un secteur si passionnant.
