I have been working at Nokia full-time

    Pros

Nokia has a great company culture.
Nokia is a truly global company and there are plenty of possibilities for anyone to transfer internationally.
Frequent travel required sometimes to exotic destinations.
Flexibility and good work-life balance. Ability to work from home when necessary.
Compensation tied to performance with 6 month reviews.
    Health insurance included

    Cons

Re-organisation became so frequent that we almost expected it every year. It also created disruption and left many employees hanging in limbo waiting for information.
Bonus targets were often set very high.
Working for a global company sometimes meant unsociable hours video or teleconferencing with colleagues in other countries particularly 3 way conference across multiple time zones.

    Advice to Management

    Take more risks.
Don't become too comfortable with previous successes. Nokia used to be the world leader but now are playing catch-up.
Create a vision and stick to it instead of zig-zagging and changing

  2. "Good work-life balance"
