      Pros

The people are kind and helpful, and the company treats its people well. It is a great place to start as a junior or college hire, since learning opportunities are abundant, and employees are enabled to level up in more ways than one, at a rapid pace. Ok salary and great benefits. The company develops its own products, so there is more opportunity to impact products and impact users directly. Product teams are small and tight-knit, so development is agile and unconstricted, and there is opportunity to collaborate between several disciplines.

      Cons

Only one live product, which is in full focus, so not much opportunity to experience work on various products. Company is very focused on maximizing revenue, and on data mining and design by committee for a game development studio, so few opportunities to work on more fun and innovative features and games. Very high focus on "cultural fit" when hiring, so people in the company are not very diverse in terms of viewpoints. After reaching some seniority within the company, options for furthering your career become very limited, stunting your career growth in case you are not a good fit for any of the few career paths.

          Pros

Great people and culture. The place is fun to work at and you are fully empowered to develop your career in the way it suits you best. At the same time you are working with some of the sharpest people in the industry, that have managed to build a game played by more than 100M people.

          Cons

It's a one game company and some people might think the company's outlook is not that great and I expected the company to release more games. However, given the industry state, I feel like being patient is not necessarily a bad decision.

Is there an ‘active job seeker’ icon for recruiters on LinkedIn the way there is an ‘actively recruiting’ icon for job seekers?

        Senior Resource Manager

Last Thursday and Friday I interviewed with 2 hiring managers for 2 different companies. Both of them said they’d like me to progress to the next interview and the recruiter would reach out. One company said they wanted a offer out this month so it would be a quick process. I sent thank you emails and references. I haven’t heard from either recruiter. I had the recruiter screening and hiring manager interview just days apart, I thought I’d hear back by now. Thoughts?!

Underwriter 1 commercial line posted salary $45k-75k, I am aiming for at least 65k. No degree or designations, currently p&c licensed with 4 years of insurance. Is my goal too high? How should I go about negotiating my salary?
