I worked at Nordstrom full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get an employee discount and there are lots of good people working there. I made some great friendships while I was there. It all depends on your manager.

    Cons

Commission based and VERY competitive. You are on your feet ALL the time and they are very strict about silly things. As with all retail you, Holidays are your busiest time and I missed out on many family events due to having to work OT during Thanksgiving/Christmas. They expect a lot from their sales associates and usually do not offer much in return.
