I worked at Nordstrom as an intern (More than a year)

Pros

A wonderful work environment. Learned a lot about sales had the opportunity to work really hard and make a good amount of money as a college intern.

Cons

I would have loved to stay with the company and move throughout however you have to work your way throughout the company. They hire everything within which could be seen as a pro or a con.

Advice to Management

Amazing transparency and availability keep your business model and treating your employees well

    Pros

    Beautiful people get promoted quickly.

    Cons

Company is very clickish, and failure to join a click can lead to you being stagnant. Managers are young and promote friends before hard workers. Department Managers often mistreat the employees in order to make themselves look better to uppe level management.

    Advice to Management

Promote employees based on skills and not their style.
