- Good Pay if you sell enough, and even if you don't ($10 base pay)
- My customer service skills are improved
- They really care about employees and customers
- Everyone is welcoming and open

Cons

- Can get catty
- Bad employees that steal customers
- Wasn't trained properly by department manager

Advice to Management

If you bring in a new employee during the anniversary, your dept. manager should still take the time to train them personally.

I worked at Nordstrom as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You learn a lot and the company is very open to you trying new roles, such as learning how to write schedules or going to monthly regional meetings.

    Cons

I didnt stay on after my internship due to school starting back up, overall I had a great experience. The only con would be they lay out a lot of projects for the interns to do but in the end didnt care if the tasks got done.

I have been working at Nordstrom part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    20% discount
    Easy access to benefits
    Polite coworkers

    Cons

Hierarchy - status on the floor is based on what department you work in, not how hard you work.
Competition - Since Bellevue is store number 4, corporate comes in often and people compete for their attention.

    Advice to Management

Like with all management, there's occasionally a bad egg in there somewhere, but most of the time, you were all professional, passionate, and informed.
