I have been working at Nordstrom full-time (More than a year)

Pros

One benefit is your discount, if you like handing your salary back to your employer, kind of like the coal mines had their "company stores". Beware that trap.

Cons

Poor leadership is allowed to experiment with people and roles. There is no stability and constantly shifting priorities makes it nearly impossible to get anything accomplished.i am counting the days until I can escape. Working for Nordstrom has been the absolute worst experience of my career.

Advice to Management

Quit putting new things into the old website - and work instead on a completely new implementation. Don't worry, the army of Product Management can always go back to Amazon..
