Good pay. Great amount of time spend on training, you definitely are not thrown to the wolves ie the phones before you are ready. Great people to work with and the opportunity to work from home.

Cons

Difficult to get this seasonal position if you are not currently on or have not recently been on unemployment or some type of government financial assistance. Nordstrom gets a financial incentive for hiring individuals in those situation, making it difficult to make the cut if you are just some one looking for a season position. I've been told this is also true for their regular full time customer service positions as well. They make it seem like they are going to hire a lot of people from the sea sonal team to go full time, but that is not the case. Anyone chosen for seasonal, who wants a long term position is advised to keep looking and answering adds while working in the seasonal job. They keep very few workers, because the volume needed for the Anneversary Sale is too much for the off season.
