I worked at Northrop Grumman full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Easy to work for. They take a special interest in the welfare of their employee's. They went our of their way to make our transition out of the company as painless as possible after the contract was over.

Cons

The company offered to employ me in Fort Benning Georgia when the Armor School moved there in 2011. Unfortunately it was a contract for only 6 mos. Not worth me moving down there permanently.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Keep hiring the Veterans

I have been working at Northrop Grumman (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you're working in the Virginia/Baltimore area you have plenty of opportunities. The company is weighed down by heritage issues.

    Cons

If you're anywhere other than the east coast you're not part of the "in crowd" and will have limited opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to include remote employees in opportunities. Coach managers in performance management.
