I worked at Northrop Grumman as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

The pay is great, even for an intern. I was really pleased with management, they were very supportive and helpful.

Cons

It's a little hard to get some meaningful work as an intern since pretty much everything is classified. My commute was also a little rough.

I have been working at Northrop Grumman full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

good people, challenging work. There were a good number of projects that required different skill sets such that you could push in different directions

    Cons

subject to liberal cut backs. As with all jobs that depend on the needs of the Department of Defense it was not uncommon for work to be slowed or canceled because of congressional bickering

    Advice to Management

Understand that long-range planning is important
