I worked at Northrop Grumman part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Flexible work schedule 9/80
Some managers try to help you succeed
Most people are friendly with a few loners
Workload is not overbearing
Compensation is fair for an intern

Cons

Lack of networking activities
Nepotism is evident throughout the company
Relocation assistance was denied because I was 2 miles short of 50 miles one way
No paid time off for interns

Advice to Management

Set up more activities outside of work for the interns to network.

I have been working at Northrop Grumman full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Plenty of opportunity for technical growth. There are some very experienced engineers. It is a stable work environment with good work life balance.

    Cons

Company does not always properly value its employees. Recently cost-cutting measures have been rampant and at the expense of the employee. Employee engagement surveys seem to do very little to change anything.

I worked at Northrop Grumman full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Travel, Training, HRO team, Per diem rates

    Cons

Leadership, Site preps, logistics, tech support, team updates

    Advice to Management

Site leaders were very poorly trained and not qualified to tie their own shoe laces alone much less lead crews on a tight and strict budget
