    Pros

It will be a very good experience for those who are in a large company as first experience to learned to learn processes and procedures.

    Cons

Innovation and care are absent. My manager had the worst combination of character : lazy and indifferent and his manager would not do anything. Old white boys club!

    Advice to Management

    Apply common sense and care

I worked at Northrop Grumman full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Interesting work, talented people, large company has the potential of providing more resources and capabilities to bring to bear on solving a problem.

    Cons

Big companies tend to be overly bureaucratic and rigid, they adopt a "no exceptions allowed" attitude because they are scared to death of being accused/sued for treating different people differently.

    Advice to Management

Be truthful to your employees, stop lying to them. Perform a company wide assessment, is the manager to employee ratio at NGC similar to peer companies? You may find some surprising answers.
