    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Benefits are great, there actually is still a pension plan and overtime pay. If you like to travel there is plenty of opportunity.

    Cons

It's very difficult to get things done. Management tends to send you on a 3 step forward, 4 step back trip to no where.

    Advice to Management

Program Management needs to let the engineers do their jobs. They need projects fully funded, upfront if you expect them to get things done on time and on budget. Common Sense.

    Pros

They are very competitive in the DoD market and look out for their employees. Compensation and Benefits are above the norm.

    Cons

Defense contracting leads to a very unstable outlook in future years. Your only as stable as the contract your on and the one you need to be bringing in to ensure your longevity.

    Advice to Management

In these uncertian times in the DoD world it is wise to lose some profit and keep your really good people onhand so when the next contract hits you still have your core. Losing your best people over a few months on overhead is not always the cost effective way to do business.
