Approves of CEO

I have been working at Northwestern Mutual full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Limitless Potential, with a client first attitude. It truly is the #1 company if you do your research.

Cons

It takes determination, skill, and a never say die attitude. Some people just don't have all the right attributes to make it.

Advice to Management

Emphasize the need for new reps to be smart with their money. I see guys go and blow all they have and then have a bad month and can't pay bills.

I worked at Northwestern Mutual as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

You are your own boss. You create your own schedule, and work under your own will. There is no money-making ceiling.

    Cons

The money you make (commission) depends on your ability to get people to sit down in front of you. It is also vital that you prospect well, and build trust with clients if you want to be successful.
