Pros

Good on site management Good place to learn and gain experience Good way to advance your skills and grow your resume.

Cons

Low Pay Poor benefits No advancement opportunities Novolex has a lot of problems and a few perks. Management in charge of bids, contracts, and pricing is competent, experienced and dedicated. Unfortunately, their hands are tied by senior management. They refuse to offer competitive pay, raises for experienced staff, or any career trajectory. There simply isn't anything to aim for. You will have the opportunity to take on different projects and grow your responsibilities, but this won't come with a bigger paycheck. As a result, the entire department turns over every two years on average as any valuable employees move on to other opportunities. This also results in a high level of frustration from the sales team and customers, as half the department is constantly in training. From a cultural perspective, the office is an absolute dungeon. There is no natural light, and the halogen fixtures are way too dim. While a sense of team and teamwork has existed in the past, high turnover makes this hard to maintain. Also expect to work 55 - 75 hours a week to keep up with your deadlines. There is no such thing as flex time or work from home.

Pros

Decent pay , good benefits

Cons

Horrible management , too many hands in the pot trying to control things . Management leans in the good workers and lets the lazy workers get away with anything. We work 6 days a week and a lot of us are on 12 hour shifts . 1 day off is not enough .
