Pros

Pros: I have worked there for almost 11 months and I couldn't find any pros except the salary they were offering me after running after me almost like 1 year begging to join NowPurchase!

Cons

1. Terrible Leadership Team, Missing Empathy, Vision and Ofcourse Intellectuality 2. Terrible Team and Culture inside the Organisation - No Structure, No Perks and Benefits, only lies to make you fool and join the organisation. Don't go for their ESOP offerings you will never get a penny out of it. They will even tell you not to play Table Tennis (the only good thing they have in the office) like you are in School. 3. Terrible Product Vision and Resource Allocation - I have worked with Companies who are Unicorn now, I have helped founders build products which eventually got backed by Sequoia and other top VCs in India. I was used to follow proper structure, roadmap, process while working with those founders. Here at NowPurchase everything is shallow. Your fellow team members are not even that exposure. No Diversity as well in the team in terms of Professional Experience. 4. Egoistic Mentality - People in Leadership team and Management are full of EGO. Their foundation is they are coming from a background of NIPHA Foundry dealing in raw materials and now trying to get into SaaS Product on which they have no freaking idea on what to do. Their Tech Product is running on ZERO Revenue but they will say that they have more than 100 clients cause they have given it for free to everyone, yet unable to monetise it for the past 2 years. What a terrible leadership and management team! NowPurchase is one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Coming from a background of Unicorn and High Valuable Startups, NowPurchase is just terrible place to work. They will make you feel that you are a caged bird eventually when you get into their "System"! If you want to be free and Boundless - never think NowPurchase. There are million other companies in the world, don't waste your time here.

I am the CTO/CPO here at NowPurchase and I would like to take full accountability of this experience and provide clarification. At the crux of it as a leader it is my responsibility to ensure that my reportees have a good experience and go on to do amazing things in life. In that regard there is a clear failure on my end. * It is true that we provide a salary at or above market standards, but only to those who show promise and potential. * It is also true that I pursued him for months for his incredible passion and potential. * He has been great at doing design all his career, but my bet in him taking the helm of product management for the first time in his career did not work out. That poor judgement is solely on me. * This only means that he and I were not a good fit for each other. There are employees who transitioned out of NowPurchase and went on to do very well in their next organization. We treat them with respect and continue to maintain good relationships with them. * As we are growing rapidly we are building structure on the fly, and never on day one. That poses a challenge to those people who thrive in a very well defined and structured enviroment. As a potential hire, you should be aware that you'll have to heavily improvise in this time. * One clear thing is as long as you show up to work and honor your commitments nobody will question what you do with your time. * The vision here is quite simple - the metal manufacturing industry is at a low productivity in India and no entrepreneur/organization is solving it at a meaningful scale. * Our job is to get talent and startups very interested in this sector and start moving the industry forward. In this effort if we make a valuable company, it would be great. * I am extremely proud of my team; they are very fresh in the industry and push their boundaries like no other that I have seen in my career. They are the reason I wake up and come to work - they call out my BS ideas at the drop of a hat! * NIPHA is our sister concern that have their own manufacturing unit - we voraciously learn from them, and even have a full-time mentor from there. That treasure trove of knowledge is what got us so far within 3 years of a pivot. Building something absolutely new and unheard of it in an industry nobody cares of now is going to be difficult and messy. Do join us if you are up for that challenge. We are going to make mistakes on the way, and during this time I can guarantee one thing - for you to call out our mistakes, and have your voice be heard. Regards.

Pros

What I genuinely loved about NowPurchase is the amount of trust they place in you right from the beginning. As a fresher, I didn’t expect to be handed real, impactful responsibilities so early, but that’s exactly what happened. I was learning by doing, not just observing. It was fast-paced, sometimes intense, but that’s what made it exciting. I truly felt like I was adding value, not just ticking off tasks. The work culture really stood out to me. People here are super approachable—whether it’s your team lead or a colleague from another department, everyone is open to helping out or having a quick chat. There’s this informal yet focused vibe that makes you feel comfortable and part of something bigger. Also, I personally appreciated the transparency. I always knew what was expected of me, and regular feedback helped me understand where I could improve. And let’s not forget the fun part, I actually looked forward to the table tennis breaks! It sounds small, but it really helped build connections and made the workplace feel relaxed and human.

Cons

Till now, I haven’t faced anything I would consider a true drawback. The pace is fast and expectations are high, but I see that more as a growth opportunity than a pressure point. It keeps me engaged and accountable. As with any growing startup, some processes are still taking shape, but that’s part of the journey. Personally, I enjoy being part of that evolution and seeing how things improve with feedback and collaboration. For me, there hasn’t been any negative experience that stands out.
