Recommends
Positive Outlook

I have been working at Nsoro full-time (More than a year)

Pros

If you provide value for your knowledge/skill set and abilities, it is an exciting and dynamic place to work

Cons

Constant change (Which is also a pro), a very demanding customer that many times leaves professionalism behind, explosive growth with no corresponding head count increases means that you better be able to adapt and adjust on the fly

Advice to Management

Be determined to mirror your customer and become one of the best places to work or your workforce will fail because of constant turnover.

I worked at Nsoro as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Above industry average for contract salary

    Cons

Management was disconnected from the project, customer requirements, internal staff, and consequently ran the project into the ground. The politics in the office were so heavy, it made every minute of every day working there a nightmare. Anyone working in that project office knows exactly what I am talking about. It was a highly unprofessional environment, and was better suited for high schoolers. People were escalated to high level positions only based on how much they kissed the director's behind, rather than for any skill or experience. Furthermore, local management was only focused on how to fill their pockets with project money, instead of keeping their eye on the company's best interest.

    Advice to Management

Executive management in the company should really do a proper review on their senior management team who tend not to have any experience in the telecommunications industry, project/program management, or any understanding of how to run a successful market. I'm sure executive management is well aware of this issue but has done nothing to fix.
