Pros
-Great place for new grads to start and get exposure to some interesting projects
-Great place for new grads to see examples of poor leadership and what "not" to do
-Bagel, pie, and cookie days in the office
Cons
-Terrible, misleading, downright sneaky management practices
-Some managers are TERRIBLE leaders. No idea how they got that position over anyone. Some of them couldn't lead a picnic
-Horrible people in charge of terrific employees. Never a good combination.
-Don't bother reading the employee handbook - they don't follow it. Remember, Virginia is an "at will" employment state
-The parties and happy hours are chances for management to find out your business so they can use it against you if they have to
-People still under the spell that the Cadmus transition will change everything and make it 'right'. Wake up! You must cut cancer out - it doesn't heal on its own.
