    Pros

    Depending on contract the information learned as well as the people of the contracted company can be very enlightening. Meeting people and being around different work environments has many positive effects.

    Cons

    Poor ethics, lack of good decision making, bad process analyst, work loads to heavy or mismanaged, compensation is low or doesn't happen, raises are only constant with management and even they have qualms, the other employees can go years without seeing a raise and retro pay is broken down over course of years further entrenching workers in company in order to get what is rightfully theirs. While profits company wise are excelling employees money is put on freeze, lack of leadership, lack of management to take responsibility for own actions, more self then team work all thru company from bottom to top.

    Advice to Management

    Put employees first, if they feel needed and truly appreciated where they can keep up with the cost of living and other variables in life your machine will run well and your business will grow exponentially. Also pay attention to the people who have been seated in high position as to there own skill level and people management skills. Just telling people what to do will not get the respect or the work output desired.

    Pros

    Decent pay, ok benefits, casual work enviroment, some of the people ok to work with, decent balance between work/family life

    Cons

    No raises for the regular employees in 3 years,but upper management still getting bonuses and raises. Some employees been there too long and just punching a clock to play on the internet all day and not do their jobs, bought by Canon last year so now instead of being 2 companies (Oce and Imagistics never really merged systemically) we get to try to be 3 companies, still having to use two different inventory systems because of the Oce & Imagistics not being combined completely before selling to Canon. Canon merger taking too long employees left feeling "up in the air" over their job security. Constant threat of layoffs and treated like you should be happy you have a job with no respect or raises!

    Advice to Management

    Clean house! Get rid of the folks just punching clocks and killing time and appriciate those that are really trying despite the lack of respect.
