      Pros

high standards will ultimately raise what you expect of yourself. This company will inspire you to DO BETTER, have a healthy happy life by working hard and playing hard. All the training, coaching tools you need are at the finger tips, take advantage of what you have here to learn and become more valuable at work and outside of work.

      Cons

High standards for some people are considered to be a CON, I personally do not feel this way but for those that are used to the bare minimum... you will not last. The company has been turning a new leaf for the better over the last 4 years. With that growing pains are to be expected. But there is a great man behind the business with a great plan... everything is falling into place to get a foot in the door now while you can!

          Pros

When I started at Oceanside Motorsports (OMS), I was shocked by the culture of the company. Nearly a year later, I am still shocked that there is a company like OMS out there. This is the best place to work. PERIOD. The CEO is driven, hardworking, and caring. My fellow employees are encouraging, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a customer in the beginning, and once I tasted of this culture from the outside, I knew I had to be apart of it.

          Cons

I don't see many cons at this job. There are certainly growing pains, both with my department, and the company overall. But rapid growth needs rapid change.

Has anyone successfully moved from vendor to manufacturer without prior manufacturer experience? How did you sell yourself? What were your reasons for switching? Thank you!

I'm currently in a job (< 3 months) that I plan on leaving out (background, resume, mentions during interview) but one common question is "when can you start?" I don't want to tell them about my 90-day stay (very toxic, looking for an out), but don't want to find myself in a bind down the road either (picked up by background check, needing extra time to start so I can give my 2 weeks, etc.) My prior job was 9 months long and don't want to be a job hopper either so a little stuck here.

When someone says “We are eager to fill this position, we have no timeline but it should not drag out,” what are the chances I’m selected? This was at the third round interview, last Tue (5d ago) when I was told I should hear from HR next. The job was posted 30+ days ago. I applied for it on 10/22 and the interview process started 11/6 with an HR screening phone call.
