I have been working at OfficeMax part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great employees,
flexible schedule
easy job
You get some commission
Great job if this is your first job

Cons

Can be very boring at times
Customers complaining about prices (which are too high)
Some work is tedious
They focus on sales A LOT which can be annoying if you're just working part time and you barely get any commission
Corporate can be very unhelpful and it seems like they make us do things in an disorganized fashion.
Pushing a lot of services that nobody wants

    Cons

Sales expectations continue to build rapidly, making if very difficult to keep up.

I have been working at OfficeMax part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Potential to make more money relative to standard pay rate (ie: minimum wage, or salary).

    Cons

Sometimes the work can be very demanding or even overwhelming depending on the time of year. The 2nd half of the year (June - December) is the worst. Back-to-School sales and shopping seem to start earlier & earlier. This is almost immediately followed by the holiday rush which starts around the end of October or beginning of November. Things usually calm down by mid-January.
