Pros

The People!!
Management treats people fairly and compensation is better than the industry average.
This company has genuine concern for its customers.

Cons

The poor economy is really taking a toll on this company. The company has been forced to reduce the size of its workforce - an action that the compay does not take lightly.

Advice to Management

Get back to being the OKI of years ago!

I have been working at Oki Data Americas full-time

    Pros

    Health care benefits are good

    Cons

I was very disappointed to learn that employees haven't had raises in many years. A lot of disconnected processes that take too long. Questionable decisions are made that negatively impact near and long term success. Lack of clear direction to overcome obstacles. Poor communication to employees about important decisions seems to be an on-going issue. Even when knowledge of those decisions impact your ability to do your job. Company seems to be in crisis mode without any realistic recovery plan. No room for growth or advancement.

    Advice to Management

Develop a realistic strategy. Don't make broad statements without a detailed plan to achieve goals.
