I worked at Old Navy part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Fun work environment, younger staff, treated with respect most of the time.

Cons

Because the staff is made up mostly of girls and a few guys in their early twenties, there is a lot of drama from time to time. There tends to be a lot of talking behind each others back and like any time you have 20+ girls working together, there is always going to be some behind the scenes competition and cattiness. As long as you watch you back and don't let it get to you, there shouldn't be any issues.

I worked at Old Navy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Several employees in my age bracket--college-bound, more or less. Subjectively fun workplace. Very flexible on hours (depending on staffing). Opportunities within company.

    Cons

Low-level management (shift supers, department managers) are generally new and promoted from within.

    "It was ok"

I worked at Old Navy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It was ok so far as the discount goes when they use to mark down the clothing but now it is pretty expensive for the quality of clothes.

    Cons

Shipment usually was done overnight and if you were the manager on duty that night you were up the creek if you had to work the midnight shift.

    Advice to Management

Get better designers who do not cater to vanity sizing their clothing, better quality control on their clothing and they need a revamp or a hipper new image. No one is shopping there now, the crowd has gone to Am. eagle and Forever 21 etc....
