I have been working at Omni Hotels full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

This company focuses on internal development. They are serious about promoting from within and their management trainee programs are "for real" not just a way to fill open positions. The company just went through a big growth spurt having recently acquired a number of large results. This is multiplying opportunities for advancement!

Cons

The company can be hard to get in to because there is such a focus on developing internal talent. And its pretty selective. But once your're in, its a pretty sweet place.

Advice to Management

Take a breather this year - keep focusing on the basics and get the new properties fully "Omnized"! Keep up the focus on development. Millenials (and us all!) really love that.

Omni Hotels and Resorts is a company that actually follows their core values. You feel like a person rather than a number and leaders personally invest in your career growth. If you have an interest in a different department you are able to explore the new discipline while still having the support of your fellow colleagues. All associates live and promote the Omni culture while striving to exceed expectations of our guests.

    Cons

The commute can be difficult for some associates.
