Pros

Relaxed work environment in a nice area in Silicon Valley. Management team is approachable and competent, products are popular and they are growing very fast. Salaries are good.

Cons

No ability for customer service staff to work from home. Communication from management could be better. More education and ongoing training would be nice.

Advice to Management

Develop regular communication with all employees about "big picture" plans. Plan more company events for employees beyond the summer BBQ and holiday party.

    I worked at On-Site.com full-time

    Pros

    - Great co-workers
    - Some legit free food trucks and healthy fruit + snack deliveries
    - Once, long ago, in a galaxy that is now far, far away, I heard that On-Site was a reputably wonderful company to work for (obviously that has changed)
    - Maybe things will improve now that a huge chunk of employees have voluntarily left?

    Cons

    - HORRENDOUS PAY
    - Raises never adjust for Silicon Valley inflation, and that's if they decide to grant your department a raise at all
    - Management that enjoys making passive aggressive insults and using intimidation tactics
    - "You get an empty promise! You get an empty promise! Everyone gets a huge build up of empty promises!"
    - On-Site will suck the humanity from you. It will wreck all your relationships because you'll start off every conversation complaining about your job. "Your wife said you were getting fat? Well I heard my boss tell a client that I would be too incompetent to fix their follow-up request."

    Advice to Management

Care enough to make improvements the first dozen or so times that a department complains of poor treatment and disproportionate credit for their work. If you do that, perhaps you'll avoid having to deal with official complaints and mass resignations.
