    Pros

Large, successful company. Solid benefits package. Opportunity to grow your career.

    Cons

Oracle as a whole is very knowledgeable when it comes to software. However, since acquiring Sun Microsystems, they struggled to understand the demands/requirements of hardware customers. The two businesses operate quite differently, but Oracle insists on the same blanket approach be used for all products, be it hardware or software (and Services for that matter). You can get "lost" in the sheer size of the company. Decision makers can be several steps away from the average worker, creating unnecessary delays in correcting issues or implementing new ideas. Internal assistance in non-existent, as all apps etc are "self-help".

    Advice to Management

Be more available. Listen to employees.
