    Pros

You are selling the best products in the industry. When competing against other companies to win a deal, you have an advantage, because everything Oracle owns is the best. It is easy to get in the door with customers because everyone uses at least one product within the Oracle product stack. It is a good thing to have on your resume.

    Cons

This is a very cut throat company and they are not known for treating their employees with the greatest of respect. Management does not have the upmost in talent. They are incredibly cheap with things such as travel, awards, team lunches. The processes to close a deal are too overwhelming. For eg. you have to negotiate contracts with the lawyers on the customer side, but Oracle will not put a lawyer on the phone.

    Advice to Management

To focus on long-term revenue and not developing the skills of their employees, as opposed to whatever revenue is on the table for the week. To treat everyone with respect and create a more positive working environment, to promote long-term revenue growth.

    Pros

Sometimes have good training opportunities. Salary is decent, but not great. Good chance to learn new technologies when on decent projects. Most of the technical staff is awesome, other than the typical few outliers with big EGOS.

    Cons

Too much management. They nickel and dime their employees. Training is constantly being cancelled. They act like they are doing you a favor letting you keep your job.

    Advice to Management

Give some of the money to the guys actually doing the work versus the managers driving the German autos who work from home and act like cheap car salesmen.
