Positive Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Oracle full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Good work life balance. Lots of products and opportunities

Cons

Large company with sometimes many groups doing the same thing. Acquisitions lead to some amount of uncertainty. Pay if you are a long term employee is not up to market standards.

Advice to Management

Keep the technology current and give long time employees more salary revisions.

I have been working at Oracle full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work from home; reasonable hours; benefits designed not just for people in their twenties; work with teams in all areas; stable; some interesting projects; good business sense (for the most part) of the CEO.

    Cons

Very difficult to hire new people; in my division there's a 5 year turnover on hardware. Home-grown source control system; tendency to acquire companies and lose their best people; not much in the way of raises or bonuses; ossified.
