Pros

They don't micromanage the way some contract companies do. They adjust forms if reps express concerns. The commission is pretty good. Good brand name and above average market awarness. Pretty limited contact with employees but all have been extremely nice & helpful!

Cons

Have inside sales reps calling in your assigned territory. Still allowing one distributor to rep their product. Have had product shortages although they are the manufacturer.

Advice to Management

Do more marketing to schools, athletic groups and youth groups who might be fundraising.

I worked at Otis Spunkmeyer full-time

    Pros

Great products, marketing department was very strong and consumers really love the products. Excellent job in the food service channel.

    Cons

Poor company direction. Not a strong retail presence for any of their items and no strategy to gain market share. Once a small family owned business has become a big corporation.

    Advice to Management

Create better Corp culture by returning to family values that company was founded on. Develop more retail consumer friendly products
