Pros

Networking with people of same age, flexible work schedule, work at night while going to school during day, above average salaries

Cons

will have to work hard, not alot of respect given to servers, have to deal with difficult customers

Advice to Management

give your employees the respect they deserve, since they will not get much from the customers

I worked at Outback Steakhouse part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Always busy and entrees are priced decently so you can make money. Typically will have a flexible schedule for you and the discount isn't bad.

    Cons

I had a horrible proprietor who was just a mean, bad person. This made the experience horrible but with a good proprietor it can be a fun place to work. Company tries to be customer-focused but this can sometimes lead to disregarding their employees.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees, if you treat them well they will treat you well. NEVER talk down to anyone because they WILL find a way to get even.
