I have been working at Outback Steakhouse part-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

They are very good at working around your schedule, getting time off when needed, great for college students or people working a 2nd job.

Cons

None really, the customers can be obnoxious but they can be that no matter what job you have or what company you work at

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing

I have been working at Outback Steakhouse full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The food is good and the seats will always be filled.

    Cons

Recent elimination of bus boys takes huge toll on earning potential. I pre bus tables...no problem. But I never would have applied to be a bus boy and can't figure out how my job description now includes bus boy!. Limiting servers to two table stations so they can bus them isn't going to help me at all. Just concerned about earning potential.

    Advice to Management

Keep and train bus boys properly. They could make some good money if they helped us make more money!

I have been working at Outback Steakhouse full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -50% discount off of food.
    -you recieve tips
-co-workers are able to pick up a shift that you can't work.
    -able to move up quickly

    Cons

I would've like to work in an environment where the disrespect, insensitivity, discourtesy, and unprofessionalism was kept at a minimum at let's say: none.

    Advice to Management

Managers should better train and educate their employees, lay down the rules and policies for the employees as well as their personal rights (i.e: what to do if an employee is....), treat others with respect, and try to understand why someone may need a day off or their shifts to be taken.
