    Pros

Good work / Family life balance. Good location (until they move everyone to the warehouse district).

    Cons

As far as IT this company is a sinking ship. They recently fired two Vice presidents. Replaced their CTO. In IT they fired the lead architect. 3 other architects have left. 3 Development directors have left. Numerous senior developers have left. Right now it is a giant political mess. And they have dragged their feet at re hiring these positions. Up to this point there has been little promotion from with in. Now they are hiring to replace just 2 of all those positions. There were 25 that applied.

The company is making a move to out sourcing to both China and India for some pieces of their development (testing the waters).

    Advice to Management

Fix things quick! Start focusing building the team and individuals again.

    Pros

Work Life balance is currently the one of short list of Pros, A few of the others is a good development team cohesiveness, this is only found in the people that get the real work done. There is also some cool technology to work with, and training, If you do it yourself.

    Cons

The largest downside it the current Excessive Management Team. They are running the place like it is a High School popularity contest. If your in with the Execs then your good as gold. If not you better watch your back and have a contingency plan. A CTO that is not a technologist is another con, the Dev Team is becoming a stagnant place to be, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

    Advice to Management

Dump the current "High School" Presidents, and get some real management it the ranks, too take the company to the next level. We will not get there with the current Executive Team.
