Mental Health Overstock will absolutely crush your soul and mental health. Insane hours to keep up with "Leadership" expectations. We talk a lot about home life balance and positive mental health, but believe me, that all goes out the window when you have a pile of work that need to be done, no exceptions. We ask employees to use PTO as much as possible, but as soon as you request it, you are guilted into removing from the calendar or worst, end up working your day off. We have flexible work hour plans that included every other Friday off, but you cannot take advantage of them because leadership has a new idea, and it needs to be implemented today. Salary If you start in here in 2022 and beyond, you might be paid fairly to the market, HOWEVER if you've been here for a few years, you quickly fall behind. You find yourself talking with your manager time and time again only to hear the same excuse. You show your worth, it does not return.
