I worked at P.F. Chang's part-time (More than a year)

Pros

-great, relaxed, casual environment
-fun people that make work go by faster
-decent pay for hostesses
-nice discount on food

Cons

-scheduling can be rough
-manager aren't always helpful
-working late hours, as in all restaurants
-when it gets busy, a lot of times hostesses end up bussing all the tables

    Centerbridge buy out created some questionable changes in terms of effective operations.

    I have been working at P.F. Chang's (More than a year)

    Pros

    Hard working group of people. Good place to refine skills with technical measurements. Diversity with fellow employees makes for an outstanding work environment.

    Cons

    Managers are too concerned about numbers at the end if the day and it creates a conflict of interest for new employees. Training is focused on learning on your own with a lot of telling you what you did wrong rather than what you did right.

    Advice to Management

    Spend more individual time with new employees in order to instill confidence within the team dynamic.
