Pros

-Culture is the Golden Rule and the management practices what it preaches.
-chance to grow internally
-can make lots of money in sales
-very good training for employees
-the company recognizes and celebrates the employees

Cons

-in sales, if one does not have the relationships to bring over, or does not grow by the millions in the first 2 years, it is hard to make a living.

Advice to Management

None - I am totally satisfied with my Los Angeles management team.

I have been working at PCA (More than a year)

    Pros

People are wonderful, and if you are in with the right group you could go far. HR has changed and seems to be for the better, but they have much work to bring the company into the 21st century. Company seems to favor minorities, which makes for a nice, diverse working environment.

    Cons

PTO is not monitored through payroll, so some get 2 weeks and others get 6. Some departments are awesome and others play favoritism. Slackers seem to rule the roost, even when actions are pointed out to management.

    Advice to Management

Stop advancing people based solely on tenure. Managers should have people skills, not just understanding of tasks.

I have been working at PCA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Wonderful manager, great co-workers, very little drama, no micro-managing, excellent benefits. Some departments/managers have more drama than others, and I am lucky to work in a department that doesn't have to deal with much of the corporate b.s.

    Cons

Computer programs need to be updated, but work ok for what they are. Days are nose-to-the-grindstone busy, but over time is rare.
