Pros

I began as a teller and it was an enjoyable experience as I got a promotion and moved to a customer service representative.

Cons

Unfortunetely my position was eliminated after one year working there. I was considered a summer teller and I could have moved to a full time teller but I was still in school.

Advice to Management

I would say there needs to be a clearer communication policy in place at PNC Bank. It was hard to know where I would be at the next day or even the next week.

    Pros

    Great office atmosphere, fun people

    Cons

The pay is low, but it is Pittsburgh

    Advice to Management

    Give larger raises

"Legacy PNC employees, especially management treat legacy National City employees horribly."

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Benefits, vacation besides that I cannot think of a reason to go there.

    Cons

Some people are really great but in order to be management you really have to be a back stabber, and learn to play dirty. Upper management gets huge raises while the people actually doing the work get 1.75% if they are lucky.
Lotus Notes, National City employees get treated differently than the ones from legacy PNC employees.

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone like they matter, just because your a PNC employee not a former National City employee does not make you better.
