I worked at PODS full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Good pay if you can sell, ok benefits..

Cons

4 different CEO's in 6 years and Management is always changing every 2-3 years.. Policies always changing.

    Pros

    Income potential is great if you have sales and customer service experience in a call center environment. Flexibility to work from home.

    None that I could think of at the moment.

    I have been working at PODS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Promotes within company
    Decent pay rate for customer service
    Excellent pay for Sales (w/ incentives)
    Most supervisors are pleasant and friendly
    Positions open every so often, and it's not tough to move up
    Frequently has contests, Free food, appreciation days etc

    Cons

    OMG where do I start??

    Quality control is horrendous and is over the top. Screw up on one call and watch your average drop to the floor! Like every call center, there are handle-time requirements... but never have I worked for a center that had a MINIMUM handle-time. Got a bad monthly review? No problem, here's your verbal. Do it again? Written. Writtens are extremely difficult to weed off, you need to have 3 months of nearly perfect averages to get off of a written.

    Working at PODS you will have to walk on egg-shells all day long. For me, this is extremely stressful. I've worked at this company for less than 2 years and I kid you not, I've seen more than 150 people hired and then fired shortly after.

    Most temporary agents are put there for the "seasonal" purposes... and then walked out the door after the season is over.
