Pros

A vibrant place to work. Good training. Great if you're young and within the first 5 years of your career. If you're more senior, it's even better if you consider yourself a "thought leader".

Cons

Some incompetence at managerial levels. Favoritism exists. They like to keep salaries as low as possible. Tend to be cautious. Demanding in terms of billable hours. Achieving company goals can mean long hours.

Advice to Management

Better communication from management is needed in terms of performance and future advancement. Incompetence and favoritism is clearly seen especially at higher levels, and not much is done about it.

    Great culture, lots of smart, talented people working hard together on really cool projects.

    Cons

    Very low pay compared to other employers; so low in some areas that the talent is lower than what it should be for the title.

    Advice to Management

    Provide better pay and better benefits to increase retention rates and attract better talent.

    Pros

    Culture is king at Bridge - a competitive advantage and glue that allows the company to grow, adapt to opportunities and absorb new hires fairly seamlessly. People can move quickly as promotions are based on performance and there are lots of opportunities that quickly determine who is doing well. But if you expect your management to hand-guide you to promotion, forget it. If you have an idea or think something if going wrong at Bridge there are many opportunities to voice your concern or pitch in and help. Interestingly, a significant number of people who voluntarily leave Bridge on good terms have returned to the company.

    Cons

    It can take some time for people to figure out and adapt to the culture, especially those who have come from dysfunctional jobs and then look at Bridge and its people and senior management through those eyes. You get tossed into a fast-moving company pretty quick and must swim or sink to a certain extent.

    Advice to Management

    Find ways to make it easier for new employees to adapt to how things work at Bridge, maybe an "unofficial guide" written by newcomers.
