I worked at PPG as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Combined R&D and manufacturing experience - they specifically hire new graduates looking for experience. Lots of repetitive work if you don't feel like thinking. Bosses are more than willing to train you if you ask.

    Cons

They are firm that you probably won't be able to advance in the current position. You'll need to apply to another position in the same firm or after you gain the exp., move on. As long as you understand this, it will be a positive exp. Management is always stressed.
