I have been working at PRA Health Sciences full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Autonomy, Competitive Pay, Work from Home, Lower stress level than at other CROs, Minimal Travel, internal job change options, no cell phone for CTMs

    Cons

Strict about airlines, hotels, and rental car companies used for travel, No funds available for office furniture, soft phone (no land line permitted), slow to upgrade systems, Training on company systems is lacking and the systems are quite antiquated, CPUs are sub par.

    Advice to Management

Be more quick to upgrade software and hardware, make funds available for office furniture for home-based employee commensurate with what you spend for in-house positions, get ride of the soft phone, give CTMs cell phones.

I have been working at PRA Health Sciences full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The PRA clinic team is like a family and going to work everyday is a joy just to get to spend time with the amazing people you get to know while working there. To some degree internal promotions are common and there is room for advancement. Tuition reimbursement is decent.

    Cons

A lot of political drama, hard to get anywhere if you are not loved by the right people, external hires are always paid more than internal hires, and poor training programs for new employees. Work life balance is a bit of a mess, and when you are busy, you can be swamped and working weekends and holidays.
