I have been working at PSAV full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Plenty of opportunities to grow technical and customer service skills.

Cons

Gear is not state of the art and sometimes leaning towards obsolete.

Advice to Management

Upgrade gear and allow home property techs to work on high profile shows.

    Pros

Consistent and dependable for management positions. Worldwide locations for work. Challenging and great work experience

    Cons

Hourly positions do not have consistent work schedule. Not enough focus on technician training and development. Capital expenditure not used wisely. Work/life balance

    Advice to Management

Focus on developing talent in location (box) management. Invest in training technicians so you don't need to depend on specialized "freelancers". Capital expenditure should be focused on technological assets not so much on marketing. Treat each hotel brand as an individual client. Do not group all of them as a " hotel division" ie: business plans should be tailored more personally. I believed in their mission in the beginning and was let down towards the end. I still believe they can reach the top and control the market share. Good luck PSAV, I say that with sincerity. I miss the comradery.
